Napp Lucca is a digital tool to accompany the discovery of the Napoleonic heritage of the city of Lucca in Tuscany.
Napp Lucca is an accompanying tool to visit the city of Lucca to explore the Napoleonic urban route. The sites and places presented are related to the presence of Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, sister of Napoleon and princess of Lucca and Piombino, who from 1805 to 1814 was at the origin of a profound transformation both from the urban point of view, that of the customs and habits of the ancient Republic of Lucca. The itinerary includes a loop between the streets, squares, gardens, and palaces of the historic center of Lucca and is completed with an extra urban stop at the Villa Reale di Marlia in Capannori.

Napp Lucca has been developed in the context of the project GrITAccess or Grand Tyrrhenian Accessible. The project is the result of the collaboration of 14 partners from the 5 regions of the transboundary space, most of them have already collaborated on previous programming projects such as Itercost, For Access, Bonesprit, Arcipelago Mediterraneo and Accessit. Its objective is to initiate the implementation of various forms of the cultural heritage of this large territory within the framework of local thematic routes and routes within a large cross-border route, for the development of tourism which makes the cultural heritage accessible to the greatest number and which enhances it economically.
GrITAccess project has been financed by the Interreg Italy-France Maritime Program 2014-2020 is a cross-border program co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) objective.
It aims to achieve the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy for smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth in the Maritime Italy-France border area. The Program takes into account the problems of marine, coastal and island areas, but also focuses on enhancing the value of internal areas and responding to problems related to their isolation.
